新界社團聯會於1985年成立，是一間立足新界的綜合性社團聯合會。凝聚香港各界團體，增進新界各社團之間的相互支持合作；關注社會事務與民生要求，為新界居民爭取及提供社會福利和服務；促進社會的繁榮穩定，是新界社團聯會始終堅持的發展方向。
宗旨
- 愛國愛港，擁護《基本法》，維護香港的長期繁榮穩定；
- 促進新界社團間之聯繫；
- 關心新界居民的生活，維護新界居民的合理權益，推動和發展社會福利事業；
- 提倡健康的文娛康樂活動，增進友誼。

標誌的構成包含了一個上昇的太陽，括潑的弧線展現出山與水的形象，反映新界獨特的面貌；而圓孤形帶給人聯合團結的感覺，象徵新界社團聯會是一個團結新界各方屬會，而又不斷擴展、發放光芒的組織，散發熱受祖國、建設特區、服務社會的精神。
The logo is made up of a rising sun, with lively are bringing out the image of natural surroundings - mountains and rivers. The elements wholly represent the unique scenery of New Territories. Also the shape of circle stands for unity, which symbolizing New Territories Association is an organization not only unifying the New Territories subsidiaries, but also expanding and shining, with the commitment in building a better Hong Konh SAR and serving the community.
